Craig Johnson was a core member of renowned Cornish company Kneehigh Theatre from 2000-2018, appearing in Tristan and Yseult; A Matter of Life and Death (National Theatre); The Bacchae (Bristol Old Vic); Cymbeline (RSC); Don John (Battersea Arts Centre); 946: The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips, Cry Wolf, Hansel and Gretel and Blast! among many others. Craig still lives in Cornwall, where he has performed with other local companies such as o-region, Blackfish and The Minack, as well as running his own company Squashbox Theatre, creating marvellous, quirky and ingenious shows for children and families since 2007.
